IE Errors

When on the internet some sites produce a C+++ runtime
visual library error Abnormal programme termination,
which stops me from using IE as I have to click abort and
all IE windows are shut down.I cant find anything on the
site relating to this.One site that consistently does
this is mtv.com.Can anyone point me in the right
direction as to what to do? I have already reinstalled IE
and Windows XP.
