IE errors when I try to open it.

When I try to open Internet Explorer on my Windows NT 4.0
Server, I get the following error message...

"An application error has occurred and an application
error log is being created.
IEXPLORE.exe
Exception: access violation (0xc0000005),
Address:0x77f88a87"

I have tried uninstalling IE and installing IE 6.0. I
also get the error message if I go to IE properties and
click on the Connections tab. Does anyone have any ideas?
