IE Error

All of a sudden, when I try to open Internet Explorer I get
an illegal operation error, and it closes. The details say
that "IEXPLORE caused a general protection fault
in module USER.EXE at 0012:0000128d." Does anyone know how
to fix this? I'm using Netscape now, but I like IE so much
better. I'd really appreciate anyone's assistance. Thanks.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit is with this tool.

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.
