IE (Dutch version) only shows part of the page

Hi,
This is on behalf of someone in The Netherlands.

Using the Dutch version of IE, and going to the homepage of
www.planet.nl, he finds that some of the page isn't showing, in
particular any of the links at the top of the page (in the green bar).

Using Firefox (English) v1.0.1 everything shows up just fine.

Planet could only suggest the use of an anti-spyware program which
didn't make a difference, and neither did all the others he tried. Re-
installing SP2 had no effect either, in fact it aborted half-way.

Any suggestions (apart from reformatting :)?
