IE doesn't save graphics in proper format.

I realize this problem is outlined in the Knowledge Base,
but I have a further problem regarding Internet Explorer
not saving graphics in the proper format--

I have followed all suggested methods to relieve the
problem, but they are only temporary; that is to say I
delete all of the files in my Temporary Internet Files
folder and it relieves the problem for the duration I
have Internet Explorer open. **However**, the next time
I open Internet Explorer, I run into the same problem:
only being able to save images as bitmaps. Thus, I have
to repeat the process all over again, each time I open a
new browser window, I must clear my Temporary Internet
files before I can save an image in a proper format.

Needless to say this is very annoying, I have allotted
ample space to my Temporary Internet Files, and have set
it to clear them every time I close IE--but I still run
into the problem. This appears to be recent, but I can't
seem to pinpoint a cause. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated, as this is simply driving me crazy!

How big is your TIF?
Most find that 40-50 MB works best.

Alright, I've moved it back to 50... I know I made it
really huge just to see if it would help my dilemma -- it
didn't.
