IE doesn't connect

bondage_faerie_4ever

i have IE6 SP1 and it won't connect... i get a 'cannot
display or dns' error message. i've tried everything.
i've rebooted everything. i've removed IE via registry.
i've done an sfc scan. i've reinstalled it. nothing
helps. netscape and firebird both work fine, and all the
messengers are operational so it's not a connection
problem. HELP!

Check your proxy and connection settings. Sounds to me like they're not
correct. Tools | Internet Options, Connections tab, etc.
