IE does not display Japanese characters

Like to know if anyone know how to get the Japanese characters to display
properly. We have done the following:
1) Change the viewing font to Japanese
2) Change the language to Japanese (both EUC and Shift-JIS)
This PC is being used by both an english and japanese speaking employees.
If there is another application that can be used I would appreciate that
information as well.

Hi,

Sorry for the late response. In the regional settings, have you installed
the Asian languages, then added Japanese? I run English XP systems and
haven`t had any problems displaying Japanese in IE or even in MS Office 2003
