IE disconnects after 20min idle time

My internet explorer warns of disconnect after 20 minutes
of idle time (i.e. downloads,etc.). I have the ISP
connection set to "never" in the idle time disconnect
feature. I cannot find a settig to change this timeout
feature for IE.

I'm not sure if this is the same setting you already changed, but try:

- opening IE
- go to Tools\Internet Options\Connections tab
- select your connection, and click Settings
- click the Advanced tab

If you installed some software from your ISP, one of their programs may be
controlling this too - check with your ISP
