Problem appears to be an add on called AcroPDF.dll
I'm a pretty basic user, and don't know how to rectify this. I did try the
advanced option in the error report where you can disable the add on, but the
same problem happens even with it disabled. I also tried the System Tools
menu IE (No add ons) and the same issue happens. I've reinstalled IE,
reinstalled Adobe Reader as well and can't seem to fix this.
Any ideas or tips?

I've also found that if I right click the pdf file link on the website and
select save target as..., then save it to my computer, I can open the file
from Adobe Reader itsellf, no problems. So what is stopping me from view
directly from IE using the link?
