ie crashes now and again.

hi,

i've got xp, with ie6, and sometimes when i'm on random site, the browser
crashes.

it happens when i'm on www.ign.com and www.cnet.com and www.zedge.com

it started happening about a 2-3 months ago, but now it happens all the
time.
how can i stop this? it crashes after being on teh site for a couple of
seconds.

you have to enter to microsoft website and download the service pack 2 for ie

i've heard that installing sp2 can mess up some of yor applications.

is there anything u can download just to fix ie6? instead of installing the
whole pack?

There is always *some* risk in installing any operating system fix. But in
this case the risk is extremely slight. SP2 is an important update to
Windows XP, and everyone should have it.T he risk (in terms of security
exposure) is greater without it than with it.
