suddenly I cannot open PDF files online, do the attach
page to e-mail function or print PDF files online with
IE6. This is happening at home and at work. The system
freezes and says "not responding". You then have to close
out of the programs you're in and start over.

How do I fix this? Any clues?

Uninstall Acrobat Reader and re-install the newest version.

basically, do not open large pdf files by using IE. Do
save target as then open the file after finishing
downloading it.
Cheers

Does this happen with specific pdf files or any pdf file? Are you using
IE6sp1 and do you have all updates installed from Windows Update? Do you
have the latest version of Acrobat installed? Have you tried uninstalling
Acrobat and re-installing? Have you tried uninstalling IE6sp1 and
re-installing?
