IE closing down

V

Vince

A computer in our office is getting an error in IE 6 (all
updates are installed) and it is of course shutting the
browser down. After he reopens the IE, there is no
problem unless he closes all IE windows and then starts
IE again. This is true with reboot, as well as, just
closing the program. As I said, I installed all of the
critical and non-critical available updates and it is
still doing it. He is running XP Pro. Not sure what
direction we need to look at. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I found that after downloading and running a Spyware
program called Ad-Aware.exe, IE has not closed down a
single time! The program is available at: www.lavasoft.de
P.S. I am not a rep, I just know this was a totally
unexpected side-benefit of the SpyWare program.
