IE Closes when visiting mail.yahoo.com

Hello,

(Running windows 2003)

IE Closes itself when visiting only this webpage. I have
run all spybot/removal tools, and am clueless as to what
is causing this.

Mozilla can navigate the site flawlessly, however, when
opening (either http:// or https://mail.yahoo.com) IE
closes ALL instances of explorer.exe, including file
browser.

Again, I have already checked spyware, and other programs,
including HiJack this, and other various removal tools,
and nothing. I would like to resolve this without
reinstalling Windows 2003.

Sounds familiar! IE is closing on me when I get to one of my favorite, to remain nameless, home-decor websites! I have been playing around here for around 45 minutes and do not get this result on ANY OTHER site. I type in the address, the progress bar shows it completing it's search, and just when it looks like the page will open - it's gone and I am looking at my beautiful children on my desktop wallpaper!! I have been trying MS update, but when I do that...well, that is a posting under another topic, because that, too, is causing problems!

What is going on????

I'm having the same problem with evite and match.com with Windows 98. I found an error article that described removing a Shell64.dll file, but I can't find that file anywhere on my system. -JS

I've got a computer with same problem and it also relates to the
msvcrt.dll post in this newsgroup. It started happening after I
installed the latest critical update from Microsoft. I'm running
Windows 98.
If I find a solution I'll post it.
