IE can't find the server

HELP, out of the blue my IE 6.0 can't find any servers at
all. I've reinstalled it and gone through all the
network and internet options. My mail works fine and so
does MSN Explorer.
 
Thanks alot, I am running XP and the site you sent me to
had a Winsock fix for XP and it worked fine. Thanks
again. FYI, I had just installed SpyHunter v1.5.81 and
had let it delete some registry items automatically.
Unfortunately, I also at the same time uninstalled
Earthlink Total Access, I think it was the SpyHunter and
after reading the information on the web site I still
think so. I wish I could tell you for sure which was the
problem but I thought I'd let you know what was
happening. Thanks again.
