IE cannot open website and Windows cannot find "host" on bootup

I keep getting these messages the first when I log onto
certain sites I get the error message IE cannot open this
site although you can see the page right behind it the
only option you have is to click OK and then you go to
the page not availble I see from several posts its
becoming a common problem HOW DO I FIX THIS? also when I
boot up my computer I get another erroe message that one
say Windows cannot find "copy" It just started doing this
a few days ago. Can someone please tell me what the hell
is going on and how I can fix it HELP!!!!!
