Just the last couple days when I load IE it will start to load and kick out back to the desktop. It will do that a couple or three times and then load. After loading, everything is normal. Is it just peed off because I use Firefox mostly?

I use Firefox for everything except checking my stock. IE will remember what I look at and Firefox won't. And yes, I have Firefox set to remember

Yes I am but have for years. Maybe the later versions
I upgraded to is the villain.

Using v2.03.532

Should have mentioned it's on xp pro.

You can configure Crap Cleaner to not nuke cookies like the one your
stock page uses.

Please use '>' and not 'I' - it makes reading and following posts much easier. Also I don't think you are using Plain Text which should be selected for news reader groups.
Select this from Tools/Options/Send/News Sending Format/Plain Text Settings - put tick in box and select '>' in the small window.
System OS, IE version, Error codes/messages, anything in Event Viewer, have you recently installed KB942615, might elicit help. In addition, your post could generate a better reply in the correct group - dependant of course on your version of IE

Questions or problems with IE6 only -

Well excuse me all to hell. By the way when I am referring to myself, I use "I" not ">".

Ask a simple question, get a couple nice answers and so far, one sour puss.

Please don't top post. You complained about HTML and you posted in HTML
yourself.

There is nothing wrong with top posting - I decided it was right at the
time.
I don't make a habit of it as you well know.
Tried to avoid the HTML, but didn't work - but didn't want to delete OP'S
first post as others have done - so what?

puss.

Fact remains: your question doesn't belong here.

And the OP has learnt how to use plain text and >>>>> :-) - I think.

[Bottom posting for Alias] :-)

No. Absolutely nothing. No error message and yes, I should have mentioned it is IE6. Just starts to load and drops off the screen and back to the desktop.

Is the machine fully patched at Windows Update?

If you check-in at Windows Update, select CUSTOM & scan, are any critical or High Priority updates offered (e.g., 942615; 946627)? If so, & you install them and reboot, do your problems persist?

Believe you got it. I set it to not nuke cookies and
it loads now. Must be something in this latest
version.
