IE Auto-Disconnect Problems

I am having a weird problem with the auto disconnect
feature. When ever I close IE6 if the disconnect/stay
connected window appears then everyting is fine. But when
it doesn't appear and I manually disconnect from the ISP
dial-in connection, the next time I boot the computer,
the "My ISP" connection screen appears after everything
else is done booting. This is a recent problem that has
started after I downloaded the Media Player 9 upgrade.

The issue has been likely caused by the upgrade to WMP 9,
it doesn't play well with some installations, as is likely the case
with you.

Corrective action: Choose a Restore Point *prior* to the installation
of WMP 9.
