IE application Error

On two different computers one XP Pro and the other XP Home, I have received the following application error message on closing IE 6 on three occasions.

The instruction at "0x10003e8d" referenced memory at "0x10003e8d".
The memory could not be "read".

One computer runs Spybot and spyblaster the other should be pretty clean as it has only been on the internet to download Windows updates. Anybody got any ideas on this issue?

First eliminate any scumware.
See

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

If nothing there helps, please post back to this thread.

I would investigate Spyblaster. Do not know about this tool.

As for your other issue,

Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
