IE and Mozilla Firefox Conflict

My husband has loaded Firefox and intends to keep it. I prefer IE6.
Previously, when I clicked on links in emails, the default was set to load
them in IE6. Not only are they now defaulted to Firefox (to which I can't
find anything in Outlook, OE, IE, or Firefox to correct), but now the links
are not working at all. How to I reset the defaults in my email programs to
launch links in IE?

In IE6, click tools menu followed by internet options, click the programs tab
and tick the box at the bottom that says IE should check if its the default
browser, close IE and reopen, when a window popsup saying do you want IE to
be you default browser select yes.

Hope that helps.

In addition to the other replies youi might want to look here:
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/defaultbrowser.htm

It enables you to set diiferent default web browsers for separate windows
Users.
