IE Address line slow to respond

In the last few weeks if I type an address in the address
line of ie and hit enter or GO, it takes about a minute
or more before it goes to the website. If I am in a site
like google and enter a search, it comes back immediately
and any link on the screen comes up immediately. I have
run Spybot search detroy and Adware. They found a few
things but eliminating them still did not speed things
up. What could be causing this delay?

This sounds like an AutoComplete/History problem. Delete your History folder
using the appropriate instructions at
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
