IE 7 Beta 3 is on my HD but not accessible

I've had some problems and did a clean reinstall of XP.

Updated everything. But IE 6 seems to be the default browser. IE7 does
show on the Software to be uninstalled... list. Shall I uninstall it and
then do a re-install? Or is there another way of running it?

SP2 shows on that same list, but I cant find it on C:

TIA

If you installed IE7 Beta and then did a Repair Install of WinXP without
first uninstalling IE7 Beta, your only recourse now is to format & reinstall
Windows.

<QP>
Do not reinstall any version of Microsoft Windows in any way after you
install Internet Explorer 7. Do not upgrade in place [Repair Install] or
upgrade to a new edition. The workaround is to remove Internet Explorer 7
Beta..., install operating system updates, and then reinstall Internet
Explorer [7 Beta].
