I did an auto upgrade to IE, It change the Icon that looked like a gear (on
the upper right tool bar). It used to alow; deleting the History and Delete
All combinations. Now it just shows; Windows Messinger, Diag. Connection
Problems. I'd like to get the Tool options back. Thanks

It is there! At the very buttom of Tools click internet options and you will
see where you can delete history, cookies and temporary files. Better to do
it as I see by clicking on the Big blue E for internet explorer with all your
browsers off. If you would like your icons for Internet explorer on the
desktop, right click on the desktop on properities, and then click desktop,
then click customize desktop & in General check mark the desktop items you
would like displayed like Internet Explorer and then apply. I like having my
desktop icons on my desktop displayed so it's easy to access.

Thank Robyn, but I don't have any Tools option on my browser now. I already
have IE on my desktop. I tried Sys. restore but this setting didn't return.
