When I try to enter an address in the address bar without
entering http, it jumps to www.nkvds.com which I have
never heard of. This has been happening for a couple of
days. I have reinstalled IE and put all the updates in
place. Any thoughts?

you probably got spyware put on your system
go to control panel and uninstall hotbar or any toolbar
program, then i would suggest installing spywareguard and
spywareblaster. you can google them.
