IE 6 wont close after playing games at yahoo

After playing games at yahoo and I try to close IE and it wont close. I have
to hit ctrl alt delet and close it that way. This happens about 50 % of the
time. I have 2 computers and it happens on both of them. Everything is up to
date on both computers. Even after hitting ctrl alt delet I will still have
the java icon in the task bar.

Some Java programs, like the games you are playing, aren't written very
well, so they don't close/end themselves when you close your browser. The
best thing to do to prevent this is to make sure you have the latest version
of the Java VM installed on your system: http://www.java.com/en/

Thanks Jon, my java is up to date now, we will see if this helps. One would
think that windows update would update this. Thanks again Jon

business due to legal action by Sun, the original developers of Java.

I have the latest version of java (checked it using your link, Jon - thank
you), and I still have problems with the yahoo games window closing. Every
time, I have to use task manager to close it.

Any other ideas?

On second thought, this could be a Flash issue and not a Java issue. Still
not resolved and still would love your help.
