IE 6 window does not open

When I click on the Internet Explorer icon the window
opens then disappears. There is nothing in the task bar.
When I connect to my ISP there is no window the opens. It
does connect but there is no window.I have reinstalled IE
6 but that makes no difference. Any ideas? Thanks John

YES..it might be a darn 3rd party app that screws your
browser ..I had same prob...go settings /advanced / and
remove click from 3rd party apps in the browser section
