IE 6 problem (on windows ME)

How can I cure this ? I noticed that this error occures more and more often
and is annoying cause I'm loosing all my pages I was surfing in (

Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but I can say that this has just
started to happen to me also.
A few things that have recently changed on my computer are:

1.) I just installed a program called Windows Live Messenger
2.) I only recently lost the use of all versions of PowerDVD above
version 5
3.) part of my error message says that there is a problem with an
applet file (which I THINK is a system-manufactured setup file) called
SHDOCVW.DLL
4.) I think it all started to happen after I patched a version of the
Windows General Advantage update: LegitCheckControl.dll
5.) Another observation I've made is that it may stem from the
integrated use I do with my video card (webcam-now removed or my ATI
TV) which were both visable while runing IExplorer.

During some of my research I found that this problem happened way back
with IE versions 3.XX and 4.XX

I am currently using IE version 6.0.2900.2180 so I have no idea why it
is popping up now.

Thank you but I have no spyware/adware on my computer, I just used 2
different programs: PestPatrol and Ad-aware scanning and I have no problems
with malware infection.

Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but I can say that this has just
started to happen to me also.
A few things that have recently changed on my computer are:

Yesterday I've got rid of my problem. I tried and (re)installed Internet
Explorer on my computer and the problem dissapeared.
This can help to you also, why not try?
