IE 6 : not responding

When I try to address one specific URL (about genealogy), a part of the
website is loaded and after a while I get the message : "Explore not
responding" and the only thing I can do is to terminate the task. The funny
thing is I have no problems at all with other URL's ? I tried other browsers
too e.g. Mozilla and Opera and with those browser everything is OK ?

Also I asked some friends to address the same site with IE6 and they have no
problems at all, so apparently there is something wrong with my IE6 browser
(Version 6.00.2900.2180 - Operating system Windows XP). I have tried to
disable Add-ons which doesn't help. Also I have installed all available
updates but to no avail.
Is there anybody who have an idea what can be wrong or what I should check ?

Could you give us the URL for us to check out? Could be something with
scripting or Java on that site, or something else.

One thing you could do would be to totally clear your TIF and History:
