IE 6 Not Responding after KB905474

This morning the WGA KB905474 was installed and since then my Internet
Explorer freezes consistently when in news groups .... but only when
trying to read a thread.

IE6 seems to be fine for general browsing.

I do not think that I have changed other settings/programs to bring
about this problem....in any event this is the latest change and I just
noticed the problemr.

To verify I would need to uninstall KB905474, but of course this seems
to have been disabled.

I am running a legal version of XP Pro with all the latest updates and
patches.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

To see if 905474 is causing the problem (I doubt it), uninstall it ["Windows
Genuine Advantage Notifictions (KB905474)"] via Add/Remove Programs &
reboot. (Make certain the Show Updates box is checked.)
