I go to a web site that has a number of links on it. I
click on a link and normally it opens a new window. Now
when I click on a link, it starts to open a new window,
but it just sits there and will not load the page.

Any ideas? I know a number of friends that are having the
same problem.

Thanks.

Could it be because you have installed a 'Popup Stopper'?
This can affect opening of new windows. Good luck.

I have the same problem, i've done everything that i've
seen mentioned in these forums.

If I can remember it all correctly...this is what i've done
so far.

-verified no pop up blocker installed
-no spyware / adware installed
-restored browser settings to default
-Installed new default browser registry keys
-verified all of the DLL's listed at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q281679
-checked all items listed on this site
http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm
-disabled IE in XP registry, then reinstalled IE 6.0

The dang thing still doesn't work. I'm not sure if there
are any other options other than blitzing my hardrive and
reinstalling XP.

If someone can provide me some advice I could really use it.

I've got the same problem and I've tried everything. Could someone help
Thanks
