Hmmmm.......
Thought I had a virus but every virus removal/detection
tool under the sun has 'cleaned my PC up' leaving me in
the same position.

Problem is when I click a link that opens in a new window
my browser totally locks up and I can't even close the
browser unless I go to my tack manager. Same happens when
I try to upload to. Can ANYBODY help. My laptop works
fine so I've elimiinated any downstream problems, it
must lie within my PC! I've even ran Ad-ware and got rid
of a heap of gremlins however I'm still experiencing the
same problem! It's been like this for over a week now and
it happened over night. Please help!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!

1. Check if re-registering some DLL files will help

Unable to Open Link

or
If you have Windows 9.x, use McRepair

2. If no joy, reinstall Internet Explorer. What operating system do you
have? If Windows XP

First eliminate any scumware.
See

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
CWShredder is also available here:

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
