IE 6 Keeps Crashing

I have had a problem lately with IE 6. Whenever I am browsing the internet
and I click a link to another website, it launches another window. After I am
done with that window and I close it and return to my original window, my
original window stops repsonding and I have to force close it. I tried
disabling some add-ons to see if that was the problem, but it still crashes.
It is only after it launches a seperate window and then I close it. Any ideas
on how to fix this

Download ad-aware or spybot and do a scan on your system, the problem you're
having could be due to spyware. My advise for you would be to ensure that you
have lastest patch install like sp2, antivirus, spyware removal and firewall,
as long as you have the above, the chances of getting IE crash are low,
unless is due to hardware issue.
