Running XP Pro, IE 6 SP2, Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security

This error started to appear a few days ago and I have tried to research and
fix the issue with no luck. When i click on all secure sites, try to
download (even from Microsofts website), try to post to this message board,
or print I receive the error message "IE has encountered a problem and needs
to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Drilling into the error shows:

Error Signature
AppName: iexplore.exe
App Ver: 6.0.2900.2180
ModName: oleaut32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180
Offset: 0007cbb3

I have tried:
Cleared Temp Internet files and history
reregistered shdocw.dll, shell32.dll, oleaut32.dll, actxprxy.dll,
mshtml.dll, urlmon.dll
ran spybot and adaware
ran HijackThis v1.99.1 and posted log...waiting for response

Thank you for your time and please have a nice day.
