IE 6 Freezes

I am using Win XP pro SP1 and IE 6 SP1 but after being on
the net for 2-5 minutes it freezes. The computer still
works and I have to end task but then I can get back on
the net for another 2-5 minutes. I have already ruled
out a hardware problem with my cable modem. I tried to
reinstall IE 6 but it didn't help.

Any suggestions?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
