IE 6 error

About 4-5 days ago, My IE 6 just began having errors and
shutting down. Sometimes it freezes and the whole
computer needs to reboot. It seems to happen a lot with
sites that employ popups. Anyone got ideas?

This is possibly being caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)

Also, clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content.) It's often recommended that the TIF
folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

Also, check your Java/VM versions.
