Took almost three days, but at last,
I got the dreaded
"Microsoft Windows Exporler has
encountered an error and needs to close"
on my latest Win2k sp4 computer.
Examination of error report
shows a bunch of machine code -
- the same junk as the other PCs.

This has happened to every Win2k machine
I have - four in all. I've simply installed
FireFox but with this job, I need ie6.
Since I've had to download ie6 everytime
it's installed, it can't be my copy of the
software, or the hardware.
How do I fix this?
Hi Jumbo,
What Error code you did have before?
Is the Four machine connected as Peer-2-peer or in LAN.
If you would like to go back and use IE you should set as your Defualt
Browser Fiest and Disable the FireFox Toolbar by doing the following:
Go to Tools >> Internet Options >> Programs and Tick the Squre in the
Bottom of the IE window to make Windows check to see if it is the Defualt
Browser.
in the same window Click on the Button Labled Manage Add-Ons and Disable all
non MS IE toolbar and click on the Reset Web Settings close the Window and
Reboot ( you may try to Reboot twice) to the Effects take place.
Hope this helps
Please write back here
Good luck
nass
