IE 6 Doesn't Close

Have IE6 on Wins XP - Browser doesn't close when button
is pressed, also the integration with MSN Messenger
malfunctions, ie not notified of new e-mails. This seems
to be one of those things that a re-install would fix. is
this even possible with IE?? Please Help

Aaron,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
