IE 6 browser window is not visible...

Everytime I use my IE6 browser window, it does not
appear. It will be visible on the taskbar, but no actual
window shows up on screen. The only way I remedy this
right now is maximizing the window (by right clicking on
the taskbar button/representation of the window opened
and selecting 'Maximize').

Question: How is it so, and how may I fix this so that I
can view webpages on non-maximized sizes?

I will greatly appreciate any answers, thank you. ^_^

Take another look at that right-click menu and think about it.
Restore is greyed out because the window is in its normal mode.
What else can you do with normal mode windows besides
Maximize and Minimize them? Hint: chances are that you
also see Move and Size commands there which are not greyed
out, meaning that they would do something for you if you clicked
on them...
