IE 6 and Windows XP SP1

Good afternoon,

Having a problem getting Internet Explorer 6 to start up at
all. When you attempt to start the program, it immediatly
craters with the following information:

iexplore.exe
Mod Version 5.1.2600.1106
App Version 6.0.2800.1106
Offset = 00001cc5
Mod Name = ntdll.dll

I have already run the systems file checker, chkdsk from
the recovery console, did the IE reinstall by finding the
"ie.inf" file and rightclicking on it selecting "install".

XP Service Pack 1 and all updates have been done on this
workstation. No new software has been installed recently
either, group policy does not permit it.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. Started today out of the blue.
One login user can run IE fine, but for another user it
crashes immediately.

AppName: iexplore.exe
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1217
Appver: 6.02800.1106
Offset: 0003381b
Modname: ntdll.dll

Anyone got an idea what's up?
