HTTP Error 408 / 409 - Not acceptable / Resource conflict
Internet Explorer
This appears to be a script error. If I click on
Customize, no matter what selection I make, I get a host
of script errors.
In the registary, the search strings are currently set to:
CustomizeSearch = http://ie.search.msn.com/
{SUB_RFC1766}/srchasst/srchcust.htm
and
SearchAssistant = http://ie.search.msn.com/
{SUB_RFC1766}/srchasst/srchasst.htm
If I set them to just the base URL, it works fine. If I
try and open the full string, I get the script errors, and
am unable to set anything. (The {SUB_RFC1766} just sets
to US english).
This started on the first machine about a week ago, and
has now spread accross the entire network. (May have
happened all at once, but users don't call in right away).
Also,
How does one go about telling Micro$oft their on-line
support sucks? They don't even have na option for IE6.0,
and all the other menu options eventually hit a brick
wall. I especially liked the one that told me the product
id for IE6.0 isn't supported in the United States!
