I am using windows 98 SE 512 ram, AMD Athlom Processor,
1.1 G processor, and I keep getting this eror, several
time a day:
IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in
module USER.EXE at 001e:0000306e.
Registers:

It is very frustrating, I can be surfing, or getting ready
to type in a box, not just the address bar when it happens.
Any ideas as to what I can do to remedey the situation?
I would say I am a novice when it comes to doing things.
Thank you for any help with this problem.

First eliminate any scumware.
See
Dealing with Unwanted Malware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

**Post your HijackThis log to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ or the Spyware forum at
http://forum.aumha.org/ for expert analysis, not here.**
Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder
may be found on this page:

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
