IE 6.0 problems

I am getting the following message when I open several
different IE windows....
Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. When I click
for details, the following items are listed--
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1106
AppVer 6.0.2800.1106
Offset: 00013887
ModName: kernel32.dll

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
