IE 6.0 opens new window but is blank

I am using IE 6.0 running on 2K professional and when I
click on a link the window opens up, but does not load any
text. What settings do I need to change to correct this.

I had a similar problem and went to the following
site:http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679. I
performed the four steps under "resolution" and my
problem was fixed instantly. I found this fix on about
page 13 or 14 of the community newsgroup.

1. Click [Start] [Run] type:
(Press Enter after each command)
Regsvr32 /i URLMON.DLL
Regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll
Regsvr32 oleaut32.dll
Regsvr32 actxprxy.dll

2. Restart Windows
3. Open IE [Tools] [Internet Options] [Programs] [Reset Web Settings]
