IE 6.0 not connection to internet

The brower will not connect to the interenet but all
other internet services are fine email, NAV updates,
etc. Is there a way to re-install from Windows XP Home
CD the IE and not install the whole OS without destroying
files, etc.?
 
Your Winsock could be damaged.
Go here and try one of the free repair tools on the
bottom of the page.
Have you scanned for spyware/adware ?
 
The NAV did show several Adware files that were labeled
at risk! I did not find anything at the bottom of the
reply for free repair tools. Thanks Phyllis
