I was having major problems with Internet Explorer, so I downloaded IE
6.0SP1, then I uninstalled the copy on my computer and installed the
download. This actually messed up IE more. Where can I get a full
blown copy of Internet Explorer 6.0? I know there are tons of "updates"
but I need to reinstalled the browers COMPLETELY! Please Help! I have
been using Netscape instead because IE had so many problems!

This site has the full download of IE 6 SP-1 to download.
http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/microsoft/ie/

You can also use ie6setup.exe to download it direct from MS if you want. See this site for more information:
http://www.broomeman.com/support/wsiedown.html

If you are in the USA or Canada, you can order the CD direct from MS for a small shipping fee:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ordercd/ie6sp1.asp
Or you can find it in some popular computer magazines.

When installing IE, it's best to first do a power-off reboot, then disable any anti-virus program you may have running, then do a CTRL+ALT+DEL and End Task on everything on the list except (Windows) Explorer and Systray. Then try your install again. This method will help prevent any program you may have running in the background, and the anti-virus software, from interfering with the install of IE. Some AV software just plain messes up an install of IE, and other programs may be using a file that IE needs to update/replace/remove.
