Hi Kappa,
Do you have a Protection Softwares installed like (ZA, Spbot S&D, AdAware,
Spysweeper, Spyblaster, Spware-doctor..etc..) they all have option to protect
from changing the home page!.
Also do you have Yahoo Toolbar installed on your Computer, yahoo companoin?.

In either way try the following to edit your Registry to change your Home
page, be warrned *back up* your registry first as editing the registry in the
wrong way can render your system useless.
Open the* Run * Command and type: regedit.exe or regedit32.exe hit
Enter or click [OK]
On the Registry Editor locate the following Key:

[+] HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main.
Right Click on * Local Paage* and select Modify in the Pop up box enter this
Vaalue/Dta : C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\blank.htm and click Ok.

In the same window (Right Window) Right click on *Start Page* and select
Modify and in the Text box enter: http://www.microsoft.com ; for example and
click
OK.

The same with this KEY:
[+] HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
On the *Start Page* change it into http://www.microsoft.com

Leave the *Local Page* as it is if it have this stringe of Data:
http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dll?prd={SUB_PRD}...... etc
Reboot and see if you got your Home Page set to the new one.

HTH.
Please let us know your result.
Regards,
nass
