I have Windows XP Home with MSIE 6.0. For the last few
days I have been having trouble logging into some
websites. Some sites just give me a not found error and
some have begun taking me to a site called "pornochicks",
which seems to be a jumpsite for a bunch of adult
websites.
I have been having problems with the pepsi
websites "billionsweeps.com" and "dewu.com". Both
require a signon through Yahoo. I am unable to login to
these sites. The browser just sits at the login screen.
I originally was unable to access the dewu.com or
billionsweeps.com websites. I contacted Comcast thinking
it was a DNS issue. They ran me through some browser
resets and some Lan setting changes and I was able to get
to the sites but have been unable to log in.
I have read the article on "Unwanted Spyware and
Parasites". I had been prviously using Ad-Aware and
Spybot. I have installed latest versions and also run
MCAffe Firewall and Norton Antivrus. I added
Spywareblaster and WinPatrol Startup monitor. I also ran
Hijackthis and so far NOTHING seems to be working to fix
this problem.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? This is very
frustrating.
