IE 6.0 code differences between OS versions?

I need to perform some browser/OS testing and would like
to know the following:

Is the IE 6.0/5.5/5.0 code different for the various
Windows OS versions XP/2000/NT/ME? For example, can I
correctly assume that testing IE 6.0 on Windows2000 will
yield the same (or similar) result as testing IE 6.0 on
WindowsXP? How different is the IE code that runs on the
various Windows versions?

Please advise. Thanks.

I instaalled flash player and shockwave player and that
seemed to resolve the issue for me. Give it a try.
