How do I adjust my browser setting to launch IE in a maximized view from my
desktop icons? They always launch the window minimized.

Doesn't work.No option. The only place I get that option is the desktop
shortcut to launch the IE homepage.(IE Icon)
The option I do get when I follow your path is the shortcut key under URL
address which is unchangable.I suspect I'll need to change the key value in
the registry,But where?

When the browser launches minimized, place your mouse cursor on the border
of the window until the pointer changes to a doublearrow <--->. Try dragging
the window to make it larger. The next time you open the browser, see if it
opens at the same size.

Not correct; The window won't return to a smaller minimized window then.
I need the registry keys and value.

You're misusing some terminology which is causing confusion.

Minimized is minimized. It is a state, not a size.
The only sense that you could have a "smaller minimized window"
would be if you made a window smaller in normal mode and then
minimized it.

It sounds as if you may have a normal window which you can't see.

Right-click the Taskbar's icon for that window. Is Restore greyed?
That is the clue that the window is in its normal mode.
Then probably the other menu items are available to you.
Use Size or Move for example. You should see a four-pointed cursor.
Use your mouse or your cursor keys to change the size or position
of the window.

If it still moves or resizes from where you try to position it,
it will be under program control and you can suspect that you have
a case of malware (or a practical joke) to deal with.
