IE 5/6 and n-case problems

Hello...

I work for a company and we operate from a LAN. An
employee had an overwhelming amount of spyware on her pc
and so a tech removed everything, including a spyware
program called n-case.

Now Interenet Explorer will not open. I can run her
Norton and get updates, and can also go through Spybot to
get updates; however, when I try to open her Internet
Explorer, it advises that the page is unavailabe.

I have reset all of the settings to the default. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled Internet Explorer, Norton,
Spybot, and even the Service Pack 3. I have run the
repair utility from both windows and the DOS command...

The next alternative is to reinstall her operating
system. I don't want to have to do that...

OH! One more thing... I saw a problem on the Event
viewer at just about the time she began having the
problems. The info is as follows:

Event ID: 1000, User: NT Authority\System
Description: Windows cannot unload your reistry class
files. If you have a roaming profile, your settins are
not replicated. Contact your Administrator.

DETAIL: Access is denied. Build number ([2195]).

Thanks for checking!

Any suggestions would be truly appreciated!

SpyBot should have addressed the n-Case issue.
From the SpyBot database:
http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?lang=en&page=knowledgebase/threats/spybots-ncase
I strongly suspect that there are many other undetected pests remaining.

Run "Hijack This" (Spyware Tool) Info and download:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Hope this helps.

Regards,
