Identity Login Password???

Outlook Express has the ability to password your mailbox
with Identity Login and a password if you want to protect
it on a multiple user computer. Outlook 2000 to my
amazment does not seem to offer that, at least thru
extensive searching in the program. But somehow, someway,
Outlook being the mightier big brother to OE, should have
that feature and more... so I would still hold out hope
that a great feature of OE would be included in Outlook.
How does one go about password protecting entry access
into Outlook? How do you setup multiple email accounts
so that you go thru an Identity Login process similar to
OE?

You can password-protect your PST. Right-click on the root of your PST
(Personal Folders or Outlook Today) and choose Properties. Click Advanced
and Change Password.

Since Outlook and Outlook Express are two completely different products from
two separate development teams, your characterisation of them seems flawed.

Well, if you're using a recent version of Windows, you create a separate
Windows login for each person and a separate mail profile for each person.
That way, one person can never access another's mail (provided, of course,
you don't make both Windows users Administrators).
